Remembering Holly ❤ Six years ago today my wife came out of ICU at Papworth Hospital after having a double lung transplant.
What we didn’t know at the time is that a beautiful young lady called Holly who had sadly passed away was the donor.Holly was Sinead’s life saver. Her life support machine was turned off after her mum Harlia Givens had given permission for Holly’s organs to be donated.Sinead received Holly’s lungs and a new life. My wife would not be here today without Holly and her mum Harlia and we will never forget what they have done for us. Harlia tracked us down a few years ago and she and her family are now part of our family and we cannot wait to see them all again. It is a very difficult time of year for Harlia but she loves Sinead as part of Holly is inside her keeping her alive. Sending love to Harlia and her beautiful Angel Holly.
